Angelina Wallent

Managing Broker, Redmond

As a John L. Scott broker, my mission is transactional excellence and client satisfaction. That means I work tirelessly to make your home buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.

Meet Angelina

“I’m here for you. How can I help?”

As a top producing, full-time professional realtor with John L. Scott and an industry expert for the last 15 plus years, these words are how my relationships with hundreds of sellers, buyers, investors, and transferees have begun. Their reply is the foundation that’s built upon to achieve their highest and best outcomes.

I feel honored and proud to serve as a trusted advisor as my clients’ lives evolve. I’ve had the privilege of helping my clients buy and sell homes because they are changing jobs, getting married or unmarried, having babies, downsizing, retiring, and everything in between. I feel honored to have done as many as six or seven or more transactions with some of them. I’ve been told that what sets me apart from other agents is my ability to envision the “big picture” and my intuition. The key is anticipating challenges and finding creative solutions. While I possess strong negotiation, communication, and education skills, and I have a profound knowledge of the Eastside market, most of my business comes from past clients because they trust me and can count on me to take care of them. Period.

I am a firm believer that there is a lid for every pot. The right home at the right time is out there for my home buyer. The right buyer at the right time is out there for my home seller. Together, we discover the right fit.

A Top Performer

My verified reviews and sales record speak for themselves. I am a 10 time winner of Seattle Magazine’s Five Star Agent Award (2008-2018). There are not many of us. For 15 years I have earned top honors including, most recently, John L. Scott Chairman’s Circle. I am affiliated with John L. Scott Redmond, the #1 office in our local market and in our entire company, with the highest per capita production per agent. Our collaborative and supportive office culture fosters early insights into the market, allowing us to act proactively rather than reactively, which creates a big advantage for my clients.

Custom Tailored Strategies for Our Success

One thing is for sure: the market is constantly changing. The key is STAYING AHEAD of it. How? I do it by being informed, aware, flexible, and open to change.

The creative strategies that I employed at the bottom of the market when every other home was a short sale and the economic outlook was bleak are obviously starkly different from the strategies I employed during rah-rah times when even the most decrepit home was guaranteed to receive multiple offers. And, of course, the definition of a successful transaction is quite different in such different markets. Thus, I custom tailor my strategies to my clients’ objectives, with a keen awareness of the market we are operating in. That means taking myriad variables into consideration including larger economic trends, seasonality, and neighborhood-specific news. For sellers, it means assistance with home preparation, professional photography, advertising and specialized marketing that incorporates a strong social media presence.

Working with buyers and sellers alike, I never underestimate the importance of truly knowing our counterparts. In other words, who are the agent and buyer or seller sitting across the metaphorical table from us, these people with whom we are meant to cooperate in order to make a mutually successful transaction? My objective is to treat all parties fairly.

As a member of the John L. Scott relocation team since 2010, I have served countless international and domestic executive transferees employed by organizations as diverse as Microsoft, Amazon, Starbucks, L’Oreal, McDonalds, and the US State Department. Having experienced the client side firsthand when I moved to Seattle in 1996 as part of a Microsoft relocation, I’m particularly sensitive to the complexities of corporate relocation. I know how much smoother the process can be with a trusted advisor by your side. I am that trusted advisor.

I was born in Uruguay. When I was a little girl, my parents came to the U.S. seeking The American Dream. They eventually became proud U.S. citizens, homeowners, and eventually even landlords. They taught me to have a strong work ethic and they taught me that home ownership is a big piece of The American Dream.

I grew up in Connecticut and lived in Boston until 1996, when I came to the Seattle area as part of a Microsoft relocation. I have been a homeowner in the beautiful northern part Sammamish since then.

Loves of my life, apart from real estate, include my wonderful husband, Nick, who is a former chef (lucky me), my brilliant and idealistic daughter, Peri, who is a junior at Occidental College in Los Angeles and who graduated from The Overlake School, and my brilliant and talented son, John, who is a freshman at Lewis and Clark in Portland and who graduated from Eastlake HS in Sammamish. As their mom, I’ve learned a thing or two and I’ve gained an intimate knowledge of both the public and private schools in the area. I also dote on my three cats (don’t judge) and my bird: Birman champion and former queen Foo Foo, screwball Birman Ned who has his own Instagram following, 24 lb Maine Coon Rocco, and parakeet Reg. In my free time I love hot yoga, Orangetheory, hiking, eating great food, traveling, traveling specifically for the purpose of eating great food, design, meditation, and reading everything I can get my hands on.

Redmond, Washington, is probably best known as the home of Microsoft. But if that’s all you know about our gem of a city, you’re missing a lot. Marymoor Park, which hosts concerts in the summer, also features a climbing rock, sports fields, a cricket pitch, a huge off-leash dog park, tennis courts, a community garden and an outdoor theater. Redmond is also home to more than 17 miles of hiking and biking trails. Known as the bicycle capitol of the Northwest, Redmond is home to the state’s only velodrome and each July, the city hosts a bike race around Lake Sammamish. This race is part of Redmond Derby Days, which also includes a parade, live entertainment, a carnival with rides, and fireworks at dusk. The top-notch schools in Redmond draw a lot of families to our community. And our library is world-class, the second largest in the King County Library System. Redmond itself is home to restaurants, breweries and shopping to rival any major city, but if you are craving the bustle, both Seattle and Bellevue are a few minutes away. Though one visit to the outdoor mall called Redmond Town Center may convince you you never need to leave the city again. If you are interested in learning more about Redmond, let us know. We’d love to show you around and help you find your perfect home.

“As transplants from sunny San Diego, we were fortunate to have Angelina as our agent with our first home purchase in the greater Puget Sound area. She is smart, professional, always available and effective. Angelina was extremely personable and very considerate of our concerns and house hunting criteria. During our first meeting, she wasted no time in giving us an assertively honest and accurate assessment of the current state of the home buyers' market. With Angelina's guidance, patience and great sense of humor, we now have a place that feels like home.”

"Angelina helped us sell our rental home in Kirkland, WA quickly, without any hassles, and for above asking price. Her expertise as a real estate agent made a huge difference in this experience compared to previous times we have bought or sold. We wish we had used her before this! Angelina is knowledgeable in the market and gives very educated advice. She is keenly aware of where to spend money for maximum return with regards to upgrades, repairs, staging, etc. Her strategy for marketing is well thought out and executed and her marketing materials are very professional. We were pleased with everyone she referred from a landscaper to an inspector and her business partners were equally appreciated. It's very clear that Angelina surrounds herself with the best in each industry. Her attention to detail, updates, follow-up, and negotiation skills are unmatched. We highly recommend Angelina to any buyer or seller. She will be our go-to agent for all future real estate transactions."
